Disappointed

in the two official revamps we have going

Right now they make up 2 of the bottom 4 maps in the main foundry. I understand people have things to do outside CC and they have other maps but I think doing a revamp means you're obligated to work on it regularly in an effort to complete it promptly.

Rj said he's going to, "come back to [it] eventually." Eventually doesn't give me any confidence. I'm not trying to throw you under the bus, Rj. I realise that graphic stamps aren't easy to come by but that's all that needs to be done. And, that a lot of your enthusiasm was probably lost when you had to un-tilt the map. I just want to see these get done.

The following Maps are currently being revamped:
Brazil
Germany
British Isles

That would be Germany. Sorry guys. I just started the IB program, and I've got a massive crapload of hw every night. I'll try to get an update in as soon as I can, as I think things might die down temporarily in a week or two.

valid argument ed. I focused on iron curtain for a while there. I don't like having more than 1 project going at a time. But I guess that since like close to 1,000 people voted for the Brazil revamp, I'm sort of obligated to finish it. You're correct about about Marv taking the steam out of me, with all the restrictions. His latest was that the actual size of the map didn't match his. I used a rounded google earth image, and his was a flat map image - so they didn't exactly overlap on top of each other. He was firm about the non-tilt, which is fine, but now having to redo all the borders again to match the flat map, it kinda lost me. I guess I started this though - so I must finish it. But for now.. time to watch the debates :)
