Some of the current maps need some fixing up I think.

Like World 2.1, it should be using override tags instead of receiving bonuses for all the subcontinents and then 2 or 3 extra for all of it. It should just use the override tags.

And in Doodle Earth, the continent names are "All of Africa", and "All of Asia". I think it would sound better if it was just "Africa" and "Asia".

Is there any other older maps that needed override tags or changing?

I think those two maps are fine.

I already wrote a new XML USApocalypse (For the irradiated territories), but I don't GImil ever got in touch with Jota.

Why would you need the mapmakers permission to fix the XML?

Changing the XML doesnt need permission but for USApoco there was talk of changing the name of bonuses. I treid to contact jota with no response.

Also the reason they havent been changed is because it would be different from the logs of older games that have been archieved. Lack has plans to get hte XML fixed but we dont have it yet.

Oh, I see now. So there is no way to change the old logs?

No, But if you change it to USapocalypse, it would be slightly different, so it could be done.

The logs are based on indexes of continents... so if you change the indexes (order) of the continents - then the logs will be broken.

They use 'All of Africa' or 'All of Europe' because there's a Europe continent and a Europe territory for some reason
