So I posted a vote on day 1 anyway.
Then there was a discussion of whether I was being naive, had I made a mistake, was I town or mafia?
To me the discussion was useful in itself because the discussion gave me a feel for the other players.
It also, I would argue benefited town because I was town and fellow town could work out I was such.
Also mafia knew I wasn't mafia anyway but the longer I stayed in the game I figure they have to try to kill me as opposed to another more powerful or better town player, because the pool of players who can be lynched is decreasing.
Therefore I think in some circumstances a town reveal or claim Day1 can benefit town.
But I think the strongest argument I have heard against my argument so far is that in a game called Soap Madness there is a risk of bastardization of roles.
I do suspect that other players are so strong and accomplished at playing these games in a certain way and so have a sort of comfort/accomplishment zone, that some of their arguments are please don't play the game outside of my accomplishment zone.
(the stuff about mass claiming was because in the said game I was arguing for that but now after considering the arguments I've backed off from that and have proposed a modified theory)

Loose Canon wrote:Town won that game Strike. Yes arguing but there is a place for shaking the tree. And no I'm not claiming to have played a critical role in Towns win or to have been right in my arguments. But I think a clever man said once "if you make 1000 arguments statistically you have to be right some of the time"

What happened last game that I need to be aware of? Seems like you're talking about it a lot
