Definitely right here. Make the map crisper and more professional looking. The crayon-y look of this map does not do it justice (or any map for that matter). Also, I liked the nice background you had before. I do not see why you added the ocean and land in there. Also, you are gonna need some more impassables, because right now it is just a huge free-for-all in there. Find some more mountains ranges and use them to divvy up the land a little better.

suggestion: incorporate dmz? like add a litle bit of impassability maybe?
lgoasklucyl wrote:The color of China is too bright too sit, but I do feel it needs to stay to avoid making it look like an island. A less saturated color/some minor texture/better defined borders on the other map will help. It's very distracting the color it is now, and as it's a solid defined color almost more-so than the map itself. With improved border work/a cleaner look I can put more input into the color/look of china. Until the map is cleaner though, I cannot accurately comment.

rustlemania wrote:that small island Ullongdo - the border is too thick, making it look very much out of place - well I'm sure the border is the same width as everywhere else - but because the island is so small it looks strange - so try something there, either make the border thinner, or make the island bigger - see what works.

rustlemania wrote:The grey border in the middle looks a bit sloppy though, you could make it look much smoother. The trick is to make it look like it didn't come from 'paint'.
rustlemania wrote:The mountains look great - however, I think they would look better if they covered up the borders a bit more - correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that on most maps with mountains, you can't actually see the border underneath them - that would be great here.
