Classic map missing from start game page

just went to start a game, but the classic map was no onger in the map menu:

When I go to start a new game World 2.1 is missing. And yet I see others playing the game. Why? Am I bared from starting new World 2.1 games?

Sometimes, maps are used in a monthly event and they're moved to the top of the map list when you want to start a game. The maps are still active and playable.

I assume they do this to try and draw more attention to the event, but I've noticed it results in lots of questions/comments like these LOL.
