Romeo and Juliet Mafia - Capulets win! AND WICKED ROCKS!

MAFIA RULES

    1. This game is moderated by me (Nagerous), I am the law. Whatever I say goes. If I make a mistake I’ll do my best to fix it. All roles will be given out randomly.

    2. Do not quote any PMs you receive from the Mod. The only things you may post (loosely paraphrasing) are your roles (and anything associated with them), win condition, and alignment, during the active game. Once the game has concluded, feel free to post the rest of your personal information.

    3. All ‘votes’ and ‘unvotes’ must be in bold. If they are not, they will not be tallied. (I.E. Vote Nagerous)
** If you vote two or more times consecutively without an unvote in between them, then the first vote will be the one that gets tallied. **

    4. Lynching requires a majority of the town vote, and once the majority has been reached any and all unvotes will not be counted.

    5. Once your death scene has been posted, you are dead. You can no longer post anything revealing or of substance. You may post an "oh shit" post but anything of substance will result in a ban in any future games hosted by me.

    6. You may vote ‘no lynch’ to end the day without a death.

    7. The game will not be discussed outside this thread, unless your role specifically says you may do so.

    8. Do not edit/delete previous posts. Whatever you say goes into historical record.

    9. Joking in the thread is fine, but don’t let it get carried away and take over as spam

    10. Be attentive and active in the game. If I see you are not posting at all, I will prod all those who are inactive. If there is no timely response, you will be replaced.

    11. Each game ‘day’ will normally last FOUR 24 hour days. I will remind everyone if the deadline is near, and to look toward voting. If no majority is reached at the end of the fourth 24 hour day, a ‘no lynch’ will be forced, sending the game into the night phase.

    12. Similar, each game ‘night’ will not last more than 48 hours. If I have not received your night choice within 48 hours, you will have lost your choice action (I.E. for mafia, there would be a ‘no kill’, etc).

    13. If you have any questions about whether you should or shouldn’t do something, or just need some clarification, feel free to PM me.

    14. Have fun!

Prince: Rebellious subjects, enemies to peace,
Profaners of this neighbour-stained steel,--
Will they not hear? What, ho! you men, you beasts,
That quench the fire of your pernicious rage
With purple fountains issuing from your veins,
On pain of torture, from those bloody hands
Throw your mistemper'd weapons to the ground,
And hear the sentence of your moved prince.
Three civil brawls, bred of an airy word,
By thee, old Capulet, and Montague,
Have thrice disturb'd the quiet of our streets,
And made Verona's ancient citizens
Cast by their grave beseeming ornaments,
To wield old partisans, in hands as old,
Canker'd with peace, to part your canker'd hate:
If ever you disturb our streets again,
Your lives shall pay the forfeit of the peace.
For this time, all the rest depart away:
You Capulet; shall go along with me:
And, Montague, come you this afternoon,
To know our further pleasure in this case,
To old Free-town, our common judgment-place.
Once more, on pain of death, all men depart.

There have been three civil brawls between Montague and Capulet in fair Verona. I fear that there may be more to come but what do I know for I am just a fool that is your moderator.

It is now DAY 1. You have 96 hours. GO!

Civil brawls? What's that, like, when they go "Tally ho chaps fancy a brawl this afternoon? Top notch, we'll make it for 3 then, and enjoy tea and scones afterwards. I do hope you can come. T'will be simply spiffing, sir."

Nope. That would involve me remembering the character

That would depend on the way Nag set it up... I would think Mercutio would be on Romeos side. But maybe he IS alone, especially what with Queen Mab on his side!

Ok, I haven't actually read R&J, so I only know the basics.

I seem to remember there's R, J, 2 family members on either side... but there's 10 people in the game?

Well, Romeo had three people on his side... Two cousins and mercutio...

Juliet had two people on her side, and her cousin, Tybalt.

Then, you'ld probably have the Priest and maybe the parents?

Might have Escalus in a governor type role, I guess.

Merctuio dies and romeo kills tybalt for revenge so maybe romeo is a vig?

I dunno, I'd be more thinking we have 2 mafia's, the capulets and the montagues, and R&J are lovers.

I was thinking Romeo & Juliet could be lovers, too. Not a clue what to think of the other roles.
