Map Statistics

Postby TaCktiX on Thu Apr 17, 2008 7:53 pm

This came up as a point of discussion in the topics "premature forging" and "FANS Stamp". I'm willing to compile the following statistics once weekly (roughly) for Advanced Ideas, active Foundry (last post within a week) maps, and all Final Forge maps:

Posts/day from topic start
Posts/day since last revision
Posts by Creator, C.A.s, other people (Percentages and count)
Posts by Feedback, Spam, Support comment ("Hey, I like this", "dude, quench", etc.) (Percentages and count)

If anybody is interested in me starting to compile these stats, or some more in addition to these, please tell me so I can move forward with the first compilation.

This sounds like somewhat of a large endeavor, so it may indeed be good to look for some partners in this. But this is a great way to help serve the Foundry, and I commend you. :)

I concur.

I, however, would not be a reliable partner. Don't recruit me. [-X

I think this would be very useful.

If you need/want assistance, I could help with this.

Considering base interest, I'll compile all Advanced Ideas tonight and start on Foundry/Final Forge tomorrow. I personally love messing with data and statistics, especially in large portions. Call me weird and you wouldn't be far off.
