I got it... the next special event will be the best idea from this thread, as in this is all just a ruse to solicit ideas from the community.

If so, I'd love to see a battle royal elimination tournament - 21 players each in 21 classic games (2 terits each), first round winners advance to the winner-takes-all BR finale.

Geez.. c'mon people. It obviously has something to do with the World Cup. Maybe a tourney on all the maps playing in the cup, perhaps.

A tournament where you will be selecting the best representants from each country (on national eliminations) to fight in the world finals (most likely divided into continents in middle-round).
