I don't think anyone is going to follow your lead on to drake, because there wasn't much substance there.
So dazza, who cares that you can make 9000 posts in one day. You think that makes you tough or something? You haven't lived, until you have drank your own bodily fluids. Trust me, I've drank that apple juice over 9,000 times. In fact, I've drank it so many times- that your 9,000 looks measly in comparison. If you want a challenge, I dare you to. Bet you aren't man enough...or....eh....woman enough to do so
It was clearly jonty who claimed to make over 9000 posts and not me. Are you actually reading this?

Over 9000 posts a day? Shit we're all inactive
But it seems VoiIet was not reading everything. Is that not usually scummy?
My mistake. I have read everything. I saw dazza's post right above mine and the mention of 9000. So I mistook dazza's PR for jonty PR. Hard to keep track of them all.
Whomever I mentioned in the last part post really doesn't matter-as it was not game related. The whole thing was a joke anyway, and just a reference to my god-awful sick PR.

What you say!? Dawg, u mad!
A bandwagon against an apparent inactive is no reason for the person to claim (neither role nor power) as soon as they post and show some activity. Voting for inactives is a last resort when there are no other leads. When the person appears the wagon stops. Period. If they just start submarining again it's worth thinking about kicking off a new wagon, but until then we're better off trying to "activate" more players who haven't posted yet.
I don't think anyone is going to follow your lead on to drake, because there wasn't much substance there.
Well, it has as much substance as "ckyrias hasn't posted, let's vote for him!".

I like the activity but for the love of porn can you at least wait until I'm awake to post over 9000! times?
*Eternal* hmm posts

Glad we got around to a bit better activity though I hope it isn't just a passing thing.
Fos Jonty, Vio and skillfulsniper
Jonty because as was pointed out earlier it does feel he posts very little substance and then hides behind his meme.
Vio for suggesting that Ckyrias should claim on what was more or less a glorified activity check with others backing off. You pretty much acknowledge that people bandwagoned quickly (considering what had happened to that point with semi-inactivity and the 12 votes that gathered so quickly, it's highly unnerving to me. Perhaps we are all wolves waiting to slaughter the lamb) but you use that to point out that cky NEEDS TO CLAIM! It looks to me like trying to follow popularity into getting him to claim just a bit prematurely. He has provided something of a defense (as safari and a couple others have pointed out it's pretty much the standard response to being accused of inactivity but I'll get more into that later in the post).
Skill because even though I am cautious of the logic sheep used (he basically warned to be cautious of people going after those who tried to start a case off the bandwagon and then makes a case off of someone on the bandwagon, essentially doing what he warned us to watch out for) sheep does have a point, skill did jump on and off the bandwagon rather quickly as popularity shifted.
As far as cky is concerned, I kind of agree with safari as to he kind of posted once where I wouldn't say there is no content but the content is exclusively around his case or in his opinion lack of a case and that I would like to hear more content from him before we allow the pressure to fade. However this is the unfortunate nature of cases about inactivity, the person is bandwagoned then if the person shows up saying anything of substance they are let off the hook, but if they show up and give a canned line are pressured more or if they don't show up get replaced and the pressure fades with the new person taking their place. It is quite infuriating in it's own way. Now when I say this I do not mean that inactive bandwagons are bad. On the contrary day 1 in absence of real scum slip ups and cop investigations, inactivity bandwagons often prove necessary. BUT I DIGRESS! the point is that I would also like to hear more from Ckyrias and while a continuing bandwagon is impractical, if he is to go back to absence another more serious bandwagon for continued lurking is far from out of the question.

Why are u stealing my PR *tut* x OVER 9000!
I haven't posted much substance because I can only really see an extremely weak case on the inactives (all of them, yes every last one even if their are OVER 9000!) and I aren't going to be able to make a good case on that.
May I ask how I'm hiding behind my PR.

unvote, vote drake_259
its the easiest way to get a lynch! lynch the new or the quiet guy!! convenient but heavily suspicious tactic!
Dazza also wasn't talking, but as soon as he got votes, he became a lot more active. this is why you also got the vote, you had not posted for the longest amount of time and you needed a push to get talking again.
And a good thing about this bandwagon, we have seen who's about. These 3 people are yet to talk. Jenbronnes 8 days Talapus 7 days lawlrus Pawn 12 days
So yous 3 if you are around watching the tread but have nothing to say (which you should do by now) just post to let us know your here or votes could go your way.
1. How do you pronounce ckyrias? 2. Why would anyone post their role at this point in time? (looking at Strike Wolf (not suspiciously, but confusedly)) - Personally I think having a homogenous group right now makes it harder for the mafia (or the townies, for that matter) to pick a target. 3. Everything went better than expected! 4. There are a few memes on here that I've never heard of before. I'm especially intrigued by Sensfan's.

Well it was first of all because of a mistake. I let it slip my mind i was voteless and dropped a vote into the game. When I realized it was counted I came to the decision it had to be corrected because if it wasn't I could be lynched due to a misunderstanding about my role and that's bad for town. So I felt it was best to be forward about the hows and whys. Finally being voteless I am also basically harmless to mafia, cult, SK and any other possible anti-town roles so there really was a very limited risk in claiming.

I'm fun, arent'I? <gasp> Are you having fun too? Yay! I'm having so much fun.
Now that ckyrias is back in the game, I am going to point my finger at VioIet because why does anybody need to claim. The only justifiable reason we were voting ckyrias was becase he was not active. unvote. And no offence to strike but the fact that he is voteless makes very curious who his meme is. If he is mafia, he better have a good role claim and if he is town, he has a pretty suckish role. Just getting that out there (don't take it personally strike).
vote Talapus: Time to get some more people posting.

It is good to see ckyrias actually post, but I need more than that. I'm not asking for a claim, but a little more would be nice. Add something please.
That said, unvote, because the reason I voted was because of inactivity. We need (almost) everyone active to be able to beat the mafia. So, since we know ckyrias is at least paying attengion, I'll go with sens. vote Talapus.

I agree with this. It's how you react under pressure that often tips whether you're mafia or not, and ckyrias has been rather uneven in his reaction (random voting, professing no opinion of meme discussion) so I'll watch to see if he gets more into the game.
As far as skill bandwagonning, the basic truth of inactive pressuring is that bandwagonning is going to occur (especially Day 1). And considering that the closest ckyrias got to a lynch was L-5, I don't necessarily believe we should get all up in arms over skill. Considering how fast the wagon developed, we could probably say the same for about 5 or 6 other people. And skill was not the first person to unvote.
Just got home from atlantic city. too much poker. brain dead. i see some bandwagons that i probably don't support for some reason or other. haven't really read last couple pages (since my last post) but will reread and post when I've recovered. Probably tomorrow.
First of all, I would like to apologize for being inactive for the last couple of days after I replaced anarkist. I have very limited Internet access this whole week and will not be back on my feet completely until Friday. I will probably be able to read through the thread once a day and post until then if that.

I must have missed it on my first run-through, but what did strike wolf claim?
Also, even though it seems like people are starting to clear him, FoS ckyrias, because isn't it a little suspicious he pops in just when he is starting to be at risk?

No, it's expected. Sometimes a bandwagon is formed by the players to prod someone. If he didn't respond then we would be looking to replace him.
It gets suspicious when he submarines again.

strike wolf claimed voteless townie. Apparently there was an issue with the vote count.
Given a game this size, I could definitely see this being a possible role. And it's easy to test, he just has to vote someone and we look to see if it shows up in the next vote count.

Well, it has as much substance as "ckyrias hasn't posted, let's vote for him!".
Very good point here by MeDeFe. It definitely swayed my logic. I suppose I was too quick in suggesting a claim from ckyrias. I thought he was closer to being lynched than L-5, but I estimated incorrectly.
FOS Naxus, Skillnupper
I could be wrong about this FOS, but naxus' hasn't really stood out to me all game. I don't even know if I spelled skill's name correctly- sorry if I didn't. He seems to hop on wagons rather quickly. Just a hunch right now, and certainly doesn't deserve a vote. Just keeping things in mind.

Well I think vice-versa as Tal is a more regular CC Mafia player and I expect better of him.
And which God as there is OVER 9000!
