Oh Ank my dear you are correct
my verse is that which no rhyme gets
but as I write I seem to find
I cannot help but to rhyme!
When I reveal my verse yet soon
you will find it's quite in tune!

So here we wait for that darn Li'n
and Selin too across the pond
As they are last to post you'll find
so wait for them we must do.

Anarkistsdream wrote:Wickeds first post is plain to see
Watch it with a wary eye
She said no rhyming needed she
But that seems to be a lie

After that she changed her tune
And started couplets and the rhyme
I know it may be rather soon
But Vote: Wicked now and waste no time

And if I am wrong forgive me all
But Wicked is always mafia y'all!

This confused me,yep, no denial.
Did anarkist just change his style?
Four line stanzas, then changed to two,
And friend and win don't rhyme much too
I'll unvote wicked for a while.

I'll FOS AD on file.
I suspect him, it ain't no pile,
Collab with your mafia crew?
This confused me.

I'll ask AD what is your style.
Cause I think you switched for a while.
What is the meaning of this foo'?
Convinve me honestly, please do.
So defend yourself and your style.
This confused me.

Close attention must be paid
to each person's rhyming scheme
before suspicion can be laid

A way to know who's on our team
Is to wait for fuckups and mistakes
The dross will fall; shall rise the cream

As we know, the scum are fakes
So watch our latecomers, I say
They may lurk to see who makes

what sort of rhyme, that they may stay
beyond suspicion, and not repeat
Another's scheme, come what may

And should you find yourself on Crete
Against mosquitoes use the DEET.

In Kate's Cafe the voters call -
Though poets should not do math -
To lynch, to lynch, lynch one and all!

Vote Count!
  • kwanton (1) - pancakemix
  • mandalorian (1) - wicked
  • Fircoal (1) - jnd
  • MountainLion (1) - Talapus
  • wicked (2) - Anarkistsdream, Fircoal
  • Not Voting (6) - autoload, Incandenza, The1exile, mandalorian, Selin, kwanton

With 12 alive, it takes 7 to lynch!

Announcement

First, for the sake of making it easy for me to count, please only use red for votes and unvotes; feel free to bold your FOS's if you want them to stand out. The reason for this is that, given the poetic license some of you are taking, it could get tricky for me to distinguish between votes and FOS's if they both are in red.

Second, MountainLion has informed me that he has to bow out of the game, so autoload will be replacing him.

Well it now seems my vote is moot,
since MountainLion had to scoot,
So I'll unvote I guess for now,
to give autoload a chance to wow!

It's only fair, though not that great,
I'll vote on proof, and not of hate.
But since there's little to be found,
I guess I'll have to wait another round :?

My poems dont have rhyme or reason
Forgive me if they are quite bad
Wicked does seem very false
Unvote Fircoal I shall
There are some critics
Amongst our ranks
invisible
still they
are.

To rhyme or not to rhyme, that is the question.
Looked back onto my PM to wiki
and read once more that what was sent
I thought to rhyme was at my option
now it seems that was not true

I fear the style which I've been given
is too much of a slate wiped blank
forgive me as I try to learn this verse
I know what not that I speak of.

Although I do know what to do here
to ban these scum like busted multis
And drink! Yes drink! Sweet Cafe Latte.

So wicked has misinformed us
She spoke wrongly of her verse style
She did not do it on purpose

This sort of thing can cause a fuss
But let's leave her be a little while
So wicked has misinformed us.

It may be hard for you to trust
But I don't find her intent vile
She did not do it on purpose

Let's not run her down with a bus
Just yet, we can put in the file
So: "wicked has misinformed us"

It's our intent to critics bust
If she's one she's in denial
She did not do it on purpose

It's still early in Day 1 blood lust
Lynch no one yet, the scums beguile
So wicked has misinformed us
She did not do it on purpose
Epic Win

You speak the truth it sounds to me,
so an FOS on you no more I see.
With lack of sleep it's hard to think,
Your verse is better, you worked out the kink.

So now I'll sit and wait some more,
for the next poet to walk through the door.
Time to see what poems they display,
then we'll know who goes, and who stays.

So here we wait to be impressed.
You had better bring your best!
It's harder to lie with everything known,
So you best bring something we've not been show

In Kate's Caffe, one Monday evening,
A fine building (if thinly walled),
Poets and critics fought and argued
But not for land and not for gold.

Nay, they sought to find the difference
Between the Poets, true to verse
And Critics, forced to ape their rhyming,
Lest they ride home in a hearse.

Wicked opened the discussion,
Using poems that were rhymeless,
As if free verse was the form
Assigned to her by our mod, Aimless.

I found it odd that she's so lucky,
To be free of rhymes, oh man!
ā€œButā€, thought I, ā€œmaybe Force was with her!ā€
(Or she threatened Aimless with a forum ban.)

After her, the others joined in,
Sharing with us songs and rhymes,
Excepting Selin and Mountain Lion
Who stayed mute as if they were mimes.

As the poems kept on coming,
Styles differing between the most,
I noticed quite a similarity
Between Inca's song and Pancake's post!

Wicked said: ā€œLet us be patient!
Until each poet's style is known.
Then more easily will be decided
Who should be to the gallows thrown.ā€

But Nark was worried by Wicked's poems
In her rhyming he saw a threat most dire,
He voted her, then turned off his browser,
To avoid his bosses ire.

Fircoal followed in Nark's footsteps
Believing Wicked to be a scum,
He voted her, then drained his soda
(For he is still to young for rum).

Inca came back with a story
About killing mosquitoes in a foreign land
And Exile started Fosing Kwanton:
Things are slipping out of hand!

Can anyone identify the style
In which Jnd's poems flow?
Does Talapus really doubt him,
Or was his suspicion just for show?

And what has became of Auto,
And of Selin, the Turkish Bard?
They're good players, yet aren't posting
About this I will think long and hard.

With my vote, I plan on waiting
Until Pancake and Inca name their styles
For if we allow haste to blind our actions
We will topple like domino tiles.

One more thing I'd like to add:
We just started with this Day One,
seventy seven pages must feel we,
Before our daily work is done.
Mishuk gotal'u meshuroke, pako kyore.

To be honest and quite fair,
I first thought jnd didn't care.
His poem was random and some what odd,
as if no role was assigned by the mod.

But now I see it, it's rather clear,
jnd seems to belong here.
As one of us, by our side,
for right now he seems nothing to hide.

But alas we wait for still a few,
and I'm still unsure of our local pikachu.
But I have no insight on who to blame,
until everyone posts in the game.

Okay, that's totally not fucking fair
I'm stuck with this Italian bullshit
Yet Selin haikus without a care.

In other news, I'll have to FOS it
mandy seems to be spending more time
Composing stanzas than reading a bit.

pancake already named his rhyme
and if mandy were paying attention
he'd see the difference between cake's and mine.

Now I feel like I should mention
that I can't figure out jnd's theme
and it's causing me no small tension.

Now, I'm off to create an internet meme
Featuring wicked, aimless, and a tub full of cream.

Well spoken little pikachu,
I didn't mean to laugh at you.
You seemed unsure and lost at first,
but now I see you're better versed!

It's true you speak the same each time,
even with no gift of ryhme.
I merely stated I wasn't sure,
and now you seem a bit more pure.

We bring are best and play the game,
and none of us can talk the same.
So I'll wait and see comes,
then we'll try to lynch the scums.

The Spice of Life, what is it?
An ink-blot test is what we need
To determine what is gold
Variety, in our Cafe
A billion reasons and even more
A desolate crew makes fools of us.

is it claiming time?
it was suggested before, with nine
or was it ten, but still show em'
or not, what shall we do. claim them?
is it claiming time?

Hands, groping for something in the dark
So far, something that cant be seen
As we struggle to find out
what themes all poets write
So do the critics
silent as night
figuring
us all
out

To claim or not to claim,
that question is rather lame.
Our verses are posted and poems read.
Those who change styles will wind up dead.

Be on the lookout for anything absurd,
for that's the player trying not to be heard.
We must find a scum before night is here,
for when morning comes, a poet looses; our worst fear!

My role, my name,
do I dare claim?
who is with me, who will say,
Let us help us end this day!
