I would say that Trump is not a SAINT; his "goodness" is a moral and subjective matter. There is no real Bad or Good in many such matters and persons. No one is truly Good or truly Evil, imo.

I have posted previously that Trump is viewed by many of his most ardent and rabid fans as a Savior, and if elected, many will be severely disappointed.
My warrior for truth needs much prayer at this time. He answered my call to do my work. He stands proud and courageous in battle. He is a mighty leader like David was so long ago. My hand rests upon him, for he does my will in the face of danger. I guide him as what to do. He is my servant doing the will of the Lord. - God

California faces potential federal cuts to healthcare programs and broad economic uncertainty that could force even deeper cuts.
California leaders approve budget to close $12bn deficit in blow to progressive causes
AI Overview
As of September 2025, California has closed the 2024–2025 budget deficit but still faces a structural deficit and ongoing fiscal challenges. Governor Gavin Newsom and the legislature have addressed the immediate shortfall through a combination of spending cuts, reserves, borrowing, and fund transfers. The deficit emerged after a massive projected surplus in 2022 was found to be based on inflated revenue assumptions.
AI Overview
California is facing a budget deficit of roughly $20 billion for the 2025-26 fiscal year, a figure that is more accurate than the $12 billion deficit initially announced by Governor Newsom in May 2025. This deficit is part of a "structural deficit" where state spending, driven by increased costs for programs like Medi-Cal, is projected to outpace revenues for several years. The state plans to address this gap through various measures, including cutting spending, shifting funds from reserve accounts, and using other accounting methods, though some critics argue these methods obscure the true fiscal challenge.
