Fantastic job! I love seeing the matches and the individual matches separately as they are completed. Very smart way to do it. And you seem to have it updating in real time or close to it! I was privy to some of the technical mechanics of the previous Super League. That technology would have been too painful to implement. But you seem to have a well-connected infrastructure to provide that capability. Very nice!

Also, kudos for overcoming the obstacles to piecing together the results from SL25.

An idea:
Can you show what used to be called the "Usain Bolt" standings to show which leagues are completing their games/matches at the fastest clip? This encourages players to get to playing!

Again, very impressed with your solution here.

Thank you, appreciated. Both you and Ewebasher have been extremely helpful, a real credit to the old team.

As you may see from the new Hall of Fame Tab, I am attempting to reduce the number of tabs in favour of presenting data at a glance.

The Usain bolt chart is a relative comparison between leagues and I don't yet have a tab for that - the Scoreboard is currently displayed as a collection of leagues in one tab.
I could do a progress bar per league but I think that doesn't work on the scoreboard because you would have to scroll up and down.

Let me have a think about this, it's a good suggestion and not difficult to actually implement it's just how to present it.

Open to ideas and suggestions.

Is the data on the Scoreboard tab live/real-time? Or is it a timed job?
Would it make sense for the date stamp on the Scoreboard tab to include a timestamp as well?

I decided against that for a number of good reasons, but all of your suggestions are great, keep them coming.

New feature : Flexible Game Day

I want to see how people feel about this first:

We can be flexible on when we send you invites to a point - we don't want the tournament to slow down but do feel we can offer the following flexibility

  • Late Game Day - this has already happened this week where one player was not able to accept invites on Game Day (Monday) so requested Wednesday instead.
I have described this as an injury timeout but will rename it because of the second point below. This affects other players and slows the tournament down so only want to allow this for emergencies.
Players not alerting in advance that they will miss invites are at risk of being kicked.
  • Early Game Day
This is for players who have finished all their games only. They can look at the scoreboard grid to see the schedule for next week's matches and agree with their next opponent to start early.
If both players have completed all games and both post in the CCSL26 thread that they want to start their match early, we can send their games asap.

Let me know thoughts

@chipv, there is maybe something wrong with the scoreboard, i find I’m playing week 4 opponents, instead of week 1, I’m sure it was week 1 the start day. Will this be with player moving up and down on the “U” column?
Main reason I’m asking, if we are going to have the opportunity to start early match, it would make it tough to know who I’m playing as the week match are not send in order.

Nice and quick fix!

I’ve been there playing with spreadsheet along my TD/Mods career, always something to do

Awesome job by the team! Long live to the CC SL!

Just speaking for myself, not opposed but to be honest, keeping a solid schedule would be better than starting to engage multiple week altogether.

Yes you are right, it is introducing a bit more work to manage.

Thanks, let's leave that, we're on a weekly cadence so hardly a long wait.

I should have added, let’s get that season rolling on schedule, then next season, additional work can be assessed, but we don’t need organizer to burn out instead
…but ultimately TO team can decide whatever they want and which best work.

Maybe getting more players next season so that would add more work if it happens…
