Protest.
Craig's tournament (SBSL) is so great that it has soured me on other tournaments... and I've participated in a lot of them. I've become so fond of the Super League that it is the main reason I log on everyday anymore. They are the first games I look for when I take my turns every day. If this tournament had to stop because of a lack of effort from the site owner (BigWham), I would be hard pressed to continue playing. I've been here since before Obama's first term...for 13+ years, but maybe 20 thousand games will be enough.
Craig has clearly laid out the features that are necessary to bring the burden of his tournament back under superhuman effort. I've been a software engineer for 30 years and have a concept of the scope of coding necessary for the kinds of things Craig points out (ingesting spreadsheet data to populate variables like opponents and maps, randomizing starts among a group of 4 games instead of just individual games, etc.). Not trivial, but not impossible. The type of tournaments it would make available would be a large enhancement to the site.
Without Craig's tournament, my current membership will be my last.
